About the Conference

About the Conference

The 3rd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Design and Arts (ICETDA 2025), to be organized at Faculty of Design and Arts, Poornima University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, is a great platform for researchers around the globe to discuss and present their research findings, share knowledge and exchange of ideas among inter disciplinary areas of Design and Arts during 12th & 13th September’2025 in Hybrid Mode. The scope of the conference mainly focus on but not limited to Visual Arts and Performing Art, Animation and VFX, Gaming and AR/VR, Fashion and Textile Design, Interior Design and Product Design, AI and Technology in Art and Design, Culture, Heritage and Craft, and other related Design based themes and their significance in the present era. With a specific focus on bridging the gap of the Design and Arts domain, ICETDA conference had started in the year 2023 and is an annual event spanning of two days in hybrid mode.

Scholars, Professionals and Researchers, Artist and Designers from across globe for knowledge shared and exchange knowledge through the conference and contributes to the benefit of the society. The multidisciplinary nature of the conference, involving academia, government agencies, professionals, and the corporate sector, enhances the potential for addressing holistic and comprehensive solutions to complex issues and promote awareness of the cultural values.


The key benefits and outcomes of the conference may include opportunities for knowledge exchange, demonstrating innovation and research, networking and collaboration, capacity building, awareness and advocacy, and global perspective. ICETDA 2025 also encourage the significance of cultural and traditional values in the development of the modern society and hence is showcasing the unique heritage and practices of the region to the world through its workshop and Lecture sessions by experts and artisans during the course of the event. Paper Submission

Manuscript Preparation and Submission Process

All papers must be within the scope of the ICETDA Conference Theme and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

For full paper submission: submit to CMT account directly from the corresponding author's email id. (In the attached MLA templates).

  1. Full paper should be 14 pages maximum with Title, author’s details, keywords and affiliations, and information.
  1. Written manuscripts should be thoroughly checked for grammatical or typographical errors before submission.

Paper submission guidelines:

  1. All manuscripts having similarity scores of less than 10% shall be processed through a double-blind review by ICETDA 2025 Technical Program Committee members, reviewers, and experts in the respective field.
  2. Based on the reviewer's recommendation, the editor will send you one of the following decision letters/E-mail: -
    1. Revision Required: Revise the manuscript as per comment and resubmit.
    2. Decline: Look at your manuscript and decline the reason.
    3. Accepted: Quality paper will be further communicated with respective Journals for publication or retained to be published in the ICETDA proceedings with ISBN.
  3. Since all the communication during the review process is done via email, it is requested that authors check their email (registered with ICETDA 2025) regularly.

MANUSCRIPT REVIEW PROCESS:

  1. Kindly use the Full Paper Template provided by the journal/website (in the Download tab) for formatting your paper.
  2. The paper should be original and should not have been submitted anywhere/published else or be under review for any journal or other conferences.
  3. The plagiarism should be less than 10 percentage
  4. The full article must be submitted as a MS Word file in DOC or DOCX format.
  5. Before submitting your paper, please ensure that the English used is clear, concise and coherent. This is especially important if English is not your first language.
  6. For the papers accepted with minor corrections, authors will be required to incorporate all the comments and corrections suggested by the reviewer and resubmit for final acceptance. 
  7. NOTE: At least one author must register for the paper to be included in the conference. Only registered & presented authors will be allowed to present papers and will be given the conference certificates. Only presented papers will be process for publication. Nobody will be allowed to make more than two presentations during the conference. This is done to ensure diversity and inclusivity of more active participants in the conference. NO PAPER TO HAVE MORE THAN SIX AUTHORS.

    2. Authors will receive notification from the conference once the Technical Program Committee has reviewed the manuscript. The committee accepts only full-length papers for review not the abstracts.

    Review Process & Oral Presentation:

    All papers with a similarity score of less than 10% will undergo a double-blind review. The technical committee of the conference will review the papers, and the authors will be notified of the paper s status, which can be one of the following:

    1. Accepted for oral presentation
    2. Accepted with minor corrections for Oral Presentation
    3. Rejected

  • ICETDA 2025 is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. All submitted papers must represent original, unpublished work and must not be under consideration elsewhere. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the work is free from plagiarism, properly attributed, and ethically sound.
  • The conference follows a transparent and rigorous peer review process. Any form of unethical behavior, including plagiarism, duplicate submission, or fabrication of data, will lead to immediate rejection of the submission.
  • ICETDA 2025 adheres to the principles and ethical standards outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to comply with COPE guidelines to maintain integrity in scholarly communication.

About FDA

With the enriched heritage in arts, culture and traditions of Rajasthan “Design” today has become a need of every human being; it has come a long way in India since the past two decades. Given the vibrant economy and dynamic market forces, the Industry is bound to grow exponentially. The scope of design has widened its avenues. With a strong legacy in education for Civil and Architectural studies, the Faculty of Design and Arts (FDA) is an extension to the quality education that Poornima University has been imparting in the past. The Design programmes of FDA are accredited by the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID).

FDA culture encourages creative thinking, questioning and experimenting to harness the artistic and intellectual potential of each individual and place the institution at the leading edge of contemporary art and design discourses. A multi- disciplinary approach inculcates self- initiated learning and independent thinking and expands perceptual perspectives. Regular interaction with design studios, production and distribution centres and industry forms a vital bridge between design school and the Industry.
